Take on the ride of a lifetime with Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity is inviting its kind-hearted supporters to join its first-ever Birmingham to Amsterdam bike ride from 5th to 8th September 2019, this epic challenge will see supporters of all abilities cycle 237 miles over three days to help raise vital funds for the sick kids cared for at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Serena Daw, Public Fundraising Manager at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said:

We are so excited to announce our first-ever cycle challenge from Birmingham to the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

After a number of requests for a bike ride starting in Birmingham, we’re really pleased to be able to offer this unique fundraising challenge to our dedicated supporters. Not only is this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all involved, but it will also raise vital funds for our charity, which means we can continue to provide the very best experience possible for the patients and young people treated at our hospital.”

Connecting two of Europe’s larger cities, the journey starts outside of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where an army of loyal supporters will wave the cyclists off. After an overnight ferry to the Hook of Holland, the journey will continue past iconic windmills and along classic Dutch cycle lanes before arriving in the final destination of Amsterdam.

Birmingham to Amsterdam 2019
