Produced by Dawn Jenks and Donna Oluban over two days, the chocolatey masterpiece weighs an incredible 8kg – the equivalent of 178 standard bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk – and stands at an impressive 50cm tall.

The attraction’s talented chocolatiers worked with solid milk chocolate to craft the Christmas elf, who sits atop a purple chocolate gift box, resulting in a magical creation like no other.

Dawn and Donna created the elf’s unique features by mixing coloured cocoa butter with chocolate and hand-sculpting into place, before adding shimmery edible glitter across the elf’s spectacular suit.

Cadbury World’s Christmas elf has been busy helping Santa prepare for the big day and is sitting on a chocolate cube dressed as a gift wrapped in Cadbury purple, with the chocolatiers adding ribbon and a bow, as well as two gold baubles to complete the look.

The finishing touches are the elf’s red and green shoes, hand-painted stripy tights, hat and Christmassy collar, all created out of solid milk chocolate before a dusting of edible glitter for the ultimate festive feel.
The seasonal masterpiece is on display in Cadbury World’s Chocolate Making zone until the close of December as part of the attraction’s annual Christmas celebrations, where families are invited to experience plenty of festive fun with plenty of Christmas-themed entertainment.

Diane Mitchell, Marketing Manager at Cadbury World, said:

Cadbury World’s chocolatiers are renowned for creating some of the most impressive chocolate creations, and Donna and Dawn have definitely continued the tradition with this year’s Christmas masterpiece!

We look forward to welcoming visitors to Cadbury World this Christmas, and are excited for guests to see our chocolate creation in-person throughout the festive season!”

Families can enjoy live entertainment in the attraction’s marquee with Santa’s stage show, look forward to an enchanting pantomime performance of Sleeping Beauty, discover the inventions of Elf Jingle in Storytime with Santa and sink their teeth into the amazing world of Cadbury through an assortment of chocolatey zones this Christmas.
