This isn’t a sponsored post.

Calling all dog owners:
The ‘Woof Run’ is coming to Solihull

This year St Basils Homelessness Charity have chosen Brueton Park Solihull as the venue to launch their first Doggy event on Sunday 19th May. The Woof Run’ is a fun obstacle course for our furry four legged friends, big and small, young and old. It’s a family friendly event, everyone is welcome and your pooch will get a medal, car sticker and a finish line picture as a souvenir of your fun day.

The money raised from the event will go back into Solihull community to help more vulnerable young people in Solihull at risk of homelessness.

There’s several routes on offer, 1.2K, 2K, or 3K and with challenges like the Canine Clamber, Zigger-Zagger and the Paw-Paw it’s one not to be missed.

Barrie Hodge, head of fundraising for St Bails said:

We are very excited to launch our first doggy event in the beautiful surroundings of Brueton Park, we would like to thank Solihull council for allowing us to use the park and of course all the lovely Solihull folk who have already signed up for the event. Unfortunately the West Midlands has seen a 42% increase in homelessness since last year, and Solihull is among the areas suffering. All the money raised will make a huge difference to the services we run in Solihull and help keep young vulnerable people safe and secure’
