Four new stores to open at the Mailbox

The Mailbox is set to welcome four exciting new occupiers,
totalling 10,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

Castle Fine Art, Sofas & Stuff and Pall Mall Barbers will be joined by a soon-to-be-announced women’s fashion retailer in early June.

The Mailbox continues to attract new and diverse brands to its occupier mix, with the new openings consolidating its position as the premier shopping, dining and leisure destination in Birmingham.

Melanie Taylor, head of retailer relations at Milligan, joint owners of the Mailbox, comments:

We’re incredibly excited to announce the latest arrivals to the Mailbox, taking us to 18 new retail and F&B openings within the last two years. It’s a real vote of confidence in the centre’s valuable proposition for our occupiers in this challenging retail climate.

The new signings are a fantastic example of the breadth of our portfolio which now comprises a wide range of occupiers, united by excellent service and exceptional product to provide a truly customer-focussed experience. We look forward to showcasing our exciting offering to customers in Birmingham and the broader Midlands region.”

Castle Fine Art will open the doors to its new 6,000 sq. ft. flagship showroom space in early June. The new gallery benefits from a prominent position at the front of the Mailbox and will be almost four times the size of its current space. Customers can expect to find pieces from Castle Fine Art’s signature variety of contemporary artists, including Bob Dylan, Lorenzo Quinn and Domingo Zapata, as well as inspiring exhibitions and artist appearances.

Benefitting from 70 years of family heritage in the furniture industry, Sofas & Stuff will further bolster the Mailbox’s leading furniture proposition in the region. Also open from early June, guests will be able to visit the 2,000 sq. ft. space to experience the superior quality and attention to detail across its range of sofas, beds and chairs first hand, as well as benefit from the knowledge and guidance of its the expert team.

Pall Mall Barbers will take residence in an 800 sq. ft. unit on Level 1 opposite Flint + Flint’s flagship beauty clinic. The independent barbers is the latest in a number of London-based brands looking to make their mark in Birmingham, having recognised the high levels of innovation, investment and prosperity in the UK’s second city. In addition to Birmingham, Pall Mall Barbers can also be found at six different locations across London and in New York’s Rockefeller Center.
