February 2023: Grants of up to £10,000 are available for community activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Windrush from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK.

This historic anniversary is an important moment for communities to celebrate, commemorate and reflect upon the huge contribution that Windrush pioneers and their families have made in Birmingham.

To support community groups wanting to apply, The National Lottery Community Fund is running four free workshops. Sign-up to take part here ticketsource.co.uk/the-national-lottery-community-fund.

This funding will be available throughout the year, but for communities wishing to apply for a grant specifically for Windrush Day (Thursday 22nd June 2023) itself, then applications will need to be submitted by Thursday 30th March.

For more information or support, call The National Lottery Community Fund’s Advice Team on 0345 410 2030. To find out more visit tnlcommunityfund.org.uk.

The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money raised by National Lottery players, who raise over £30 million each week for good causes across the UK.
