Full service content marketing agency, HDY Agency, based in central Birmingham, has completed the visual identity and relaunch of the sports and leisure division of Sodexo, the hospitality services and events management brand responsible for major sport, professional and cultural moments and venues across the UK and around the world.

The major project win saw the fast-growing content marketing agency develop a new brand identity and implementation for the global business: Sodexo Live! that encapsulates the excitement, energy and emotion of being able to attend live events with loved ones once again.

Reaching 40,000 employees across 500 venues and sites around the world, HDY’s creative concept – which included creative storytelling, content creation and website development for Sodexo Live! marketing channels in North America, France plus the UK and Ireland – is now firmly placed on the international stage.

Sodexo Live!

Formerly known as Sodexo Sports and Leisure, Sodexo Live! is one of the world’s leading events and hospitality delivery brands, serving hundreds of thousands of fans at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida partnering with more than fifteen world-class chefs around the world – including Raymond Blanc in the UK as well as Frédéric Anton and Thierry Marx in France at the restaurants of the Eiffel Tower (The Jules Verne and Madame Brasserie respectively). This is in addition to serving 30 million passengers each year at more than 170 global airport lounges.

HDY Agency has been working with Sodexo Live! for the past 12 months, creating large scale campaigns for its Bateaux London brand, for Jardin Blanc – the official hospitality offering for RHS Chelsea Flower Show – and Henley Royal Regatta.

Claire Morris, Global Marketing Head of Sodexo Live!, said:

Launching Sodexo Live! is a major milestone for our business and represents our commitment to bringing together our expertise related to sports, events and hospitality under a unified global brand. More than ever, we are convinced of the value of live experiences and the human interaction this creates.

Not only has HDY supported this through the visual identity creation and launch programme to raise our brand profile, but they continue to provide us with expertise in how to best present ourselves digitally to target different audiences.”

Angel Gaskell, Co-founder of HDY Agency, said:

The brand launch of Sodexo Live! was a massive project for us. Working with an international player and the scale of the task meant the whole agency was involved, which was brilliant for our team.

We’re incredibly proud to have launched the brand and to be working with an events and hospitality company supporting people getting back to doing what they love and creating long-lasting memories at major cultural sporting and professional events.”
