Announced: Join Chocolate 5k with Birmingham Hospice
Via Rebecca for Birmingham Hospice
Birmingham Hospice (the new name for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice) is bringing back one of their most much-loved events for 2024, The Chocolate 5K! The hospice is encouraging local people to gather their loved ones to take on 5k and pass through the streets and parks of Bournville on Saturday 23rd March 2024.
Early bird tickets are on sale now at just £15 per adult and £12 per child with family tickets available. There’s no sponsorship target for this event, but the hospice is encouraging all fun runners to fundraise as much as they can with special treats in store for reaching milestone amounts.
Run, walk or jog 5k in support of local hospice care. Every kilometre you complete, you’ll pass a chocolate station and collect tasty treats to add into your Chocolate 5k goodie bag! This event is for everyone, and the hospice is welcoming people of all ages and fitness levels to join them. Sign up with your family, friends and colleagues, plus your four-legged friends, and be part of Birmingham’s tastiest fun run!
Rebecca Richards, Senior Events Manager at Birmingham Hospice, said:
We’re incredibly excited to be bringing back The Chocolate 5K to Bournville. It was always a firm favourite with our supporters and next year’s event promises to be a whole choco-lot of fun too!”
The funds raised from Birmingham’s Tastiest Fun Run will ensure local people living with a terminal diagnosis, and their families, can access Birmingham Hospice’s expert palliative and end of life care when they need it, whenever they need it.
