Millennium Point starts festive season with series of events

November 2021: Award-winning conference and events venue Millennium Point has announced a brand-new series of film screenings and themed events for the festive season.

Millennium Point’s 354-seater Auditorium will screen two film favourites this autumn. The venue has teamed up once more with innovative event specialists The Wine Events Company, who will pause the films to provide movie-lovers with fun film trivia and themed wines during the screenings.

Rocketman, with wine (13th November)

Oscar-winning musical biography Rocketman will be showing on Saturday 13th November, offering visitors the chance to relive some of Elton John’s greatest hits on the giant screen while enjoying five themed wines.

Tickets for Rocketman are priced at £31.95 per person and include five glasses of themed wine, which will be served to visitors throughout the film.

Love Actually Wine Tasting and Festive Screening (5th December)

On Sunday 5th December, visitors can kick off the Christmas season in style as they watch Richard Curtis’ ultimate festive rom-com Love Actually, alongside five themed wines to truly get into the Christmas spirit.

Tickets for Love Actually are priced at £31.95 per person and include five glasses of themed wine, which will be served to visitors throughout the film.

Millennium Point’s Hollywood Film Party

And for those looking to add the glamour of the big screen to their Christmas party this year, Millennium Point’s Hollywood Film Party package invites visitors to take a seat in the venue’s auditorium and enjoy an exclusive festive film screening of their choice. Feel-good Christmas classics Love Actually, Elf, Home Alone and Die Hard are all available to watch on the giant screen while guests can choose from four delicious dishes to enjoy throughout the movie.

The Hollywood Film Party package is priced at £42.50 per person, and includes a welcome glass of fizz, a choice of popcorn and a private bar.
