Baddesley Clinton

Birmingham Back to Backs

Explore the story and skill of George Saunders – a master tailor from St Kitts who worked at the Back to Backs site from 1974 to 2001 – through contemporary fashion pieces and digital media.
Students from the School of Fashion and Textiles at Birmingham City University have taken inspiration from George’s collection and story, creating new garments from his original paper patterns, producing digital media artworks and designing a range of wallpaper.
George Saunders Reimagined is a free exhibition – no need to book.

Charlecote Park

There will be lots of Halloween goings on at Charlecote Park over half term. On the Vile Vegetable trail, children can join in with fun, vegetable-based games and find interesting facts
about food waste to earn a prize. Make your bat ears to take home on Craft Wednesday and take a look at the community Halloween Pumpkin Party display, with knitted and crocheted pumpkins made by local crafters.
