Platinum Jubilee Tea at Cadbury World during Half Term

Via Ella for Cadbury World

May 2022: Families visiting Cadbury World this May half term can enjoy a delicious day out, which promises to be filled with marvellous moments.

Until Sunday 5th June, visitors can join Freddo in his brand-new Festival of Fun stage show, where the famous frog will take families on a journey through the world of music. Guests can expect magic, excitement and plenty of entertainment during the live stage show, which will take place in the attraction’s on-site marquee, with ten performances scheduled each day.

Plus, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, visitors can celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a special tea and cake experience at the Bournville-based attraction. Guests will be able to enjoy delicious cake and a selection of hot drinks in the Cadbury World marquee, which will be specially decorated for the occasion with bunting and appearances from Freddo, the Caramel Bunny and family entertainers*.

Elsewhere in the attraction, there’s plenty to learn and discover through a self-guided tour of Cadbury World’s chocolatey zones. Head to the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone to experience the sensation of riding on the Crunchie Rollercoaster and diving into a pot of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, in an unmissable cinematic experience.

Visitors can also catch the talented chocolatiers in action and take a delicious taster for themselves in the Chocolate Making zone, before heading to the Have A Go zone to practice their piping skills and draw their name in chocolate.

What’s more, families can take a magical ride through the chocolatey land of Beanville on the Cadabra ride and come face to face with everybody’s favourite drumming gorilla in Advertising Avenue.

As well as interactive chocolatey zones and a brand-new stage show, the outdoor African Adventure Play Area is the perfect place for younger visitors to make the most of the sunshine, filled with tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges. With a separate under 5s zone for little chocolate-lovers to enjoy, it’s also the perfect place for adults to relax with a snack and refreshing drink or a delicious ice cream.

With much more on offer, including The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop and the on-site Cadbury Café, Cadbury World is the perfect destination for a family day out this May half term.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said:

We’re excited to be inviting families to our chocolatey world this May half term, where they can enjoy our all-new live stage show, Freddo’s Festival of Fun, as well as join in with the national celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee!”
