Royal Sutton Coldfield set for biggest annual Expo

Sutton Coldfield Expo returns for its tenth year later this month and more local businesses, and groups are expected to take part than ever before.

Taking place on Saturday 28th September, the one-day event will bring the Parade to life with the town’s varied and vibrant offering, showcasing everything from retailers and charities to professional services and community groups.

Organised by Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID (Business Improvement District), visitors can explore over 50 stalls from businesses throughout the day, including The Weigh Forward, Pilates Lounge, Empire Cinema, St Giles Hospice, and Wyndley Leisure Centre, to name a few.

Local clubs and community groups including Sutton Coldfield Vegans, Aston & Erdington Photographic Society, Streetly Flower Arrangers Club, Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers and South Staffs Bonsai Society, will be on hand to offer prospective members a chance to find out more about memberships.

The popular community stage will also return to entertain crowds for the day, with live performances from a line-up of local artists, bands and performing groups.

Mike Bushell, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID Manager, said:

We are delighted to welcome the return of Expo this September, for what will be our tenth and largest year celebrating Sutton Coldfield’s offering.

The day will offer the local community the perfect opportunity to discover the rich variety of businesses right on our doorstep, whether it is professional services, retailers, restaurants, charities or clubs, as well as make the most of a host of exclusive offers available and enjoy some local entertainment.

We look forward to joining residents and visitors alike as they explore everything that our town centre has to offer,”

Sutton Coldfield Expo will take place from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 28th September. For more information, visit suttoncoldfiedltowncentre.co.uk.
