Adolf (4th to 6th March)

About this one man play with Pip Utton as the Führer, The Old Joint Stock website says:

One of the most extraordinary, successful and powerful solo works ever presented. It is live theatre at its best and that touches us all; powerful, challenging, divisive and illustrative. ‘Adolf’ is utterly provocative and totally necessary; everyone should experience it.”

Absolute Certainty (12th to 14th March)

The Old Joint Stock website says:

In an environment where no-one is safe to talk about feelings, let alone sexuality, it’s easy to misread the signs. One drunken night, a line is crossed; but by who? What actually happened? It’s difficult to find out when nobody wants to talk.”

The White Plague (Cancelled)

The White Plague is an immersive play written and directed by Alexander Raptotasios and inspired by Jose Saramago’s Blindness presented by Ferodo Bridges

Bottom (Cancelled)

The Old Joint Stock website says:

With a cracking soundtrack, Willy Hudson’s funny, honest and open-hearted storytelling yanks the lid off the queer experience. He faces performance anxiety and the realities of being overworked, underpaid and under-respected.”

From Judy to Bette (Cancelled)

The Old Joint Stock website says:

Judy Garland, Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, and Betty Hutton. Four trailblazers who refused to be “just another ingénue” during the Golden Age of Hollywood.

They each broke the mould by taking the Hollywood studio system to task, fighting for the roles that made them famous, and opening doors that had previously been firmly shut for women in the film industry.
