Birmingham in November
November, the clocks have gone back and things take a distinctively seasonal flavour, nearly everything is in doors and there’s the final festivals of the year, plus a few trips to The NEC to do.
Jesus Christ Superstar (30th October to 2nd November)

This youth lead production of the rock musical features actors aged between 12 and 19 years is presented by award-winning BITA Musical Theatre.

The UK’s largest exhibition of LEGO returns for 2019 with a Sci-fi Zone, Race Ramps, Brick Pits, Minecraft and even a climbing wall.

Birmingham Film Festival (1st to 10th November)

National Pet Show (2nd and 3rd November)

‘Hannibal’ Halloween ‘Movie with Wine’ experience (3rd November)

Around central Birmingham
With events titled Queer and Now and A Dirty Shame you could be forgiven for thinking that SHOUT Festival only covers uncompromising subjects, but there are also events from legendary director John Walters, and even a Shout Vogue Ball.

Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market (7th November to 23rd December)

The Classic Motor Show (8th to 10th November)

Christmas with Steptoe and Son (26th to 28th November)

Steptoe and Son were a grumpy man and his even grumpier dad, on tv when it was black and white and the first episode I ever remember they argued about the house so much that they divided it right down the middle.
Mark the season to be jolly with specially adapted episodes from Hambledon Productions.
