Slava’s SnowShow at The Alexandra: Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐A fun, fast-paced clown show
Directed by Viktor Kramer and Slava Polunin
A series of short wordless sketches and performances, Slava’s SnowShow is a dark clown show. It features clowns in brown hats and green jackets, plus a main clown in a yellow jumpsuit.

The music soundscape includes; Chariots of Fire and Mas Que Nada in different moments, plus a chilled-out mix. Each track matches the tone of the stage performance.
Some people might find this too off-the-wall to make any sense of, it is at times overwhelming, loud, and exhilarating, but above all, it has a fun heart and a sheer playfulness to its style.
There were many moments where kids’ laughter could be heard across the audience as they reacted in delight, and whilst this is a family-friendly show, it really might be a little dark for younger people watching.
The set consists of six or seven huge boards that look like bedding with stars stitched into them, and the props are used effectively to communicate the narrative. Stick around during the interval as much as possible, as the clowns come out to play in the audience.

At one hundred minutes, including a 20-minute interval, this is a fast-paced show, and the ending will knock your socks off.
A fun, fast-paced clown show, Slava’s SnowShow is at The Alexandra until 15th November 2025 with tickets starting at £15 plus booking fee.
