Support Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice with Make A Will Month
Solicitors and will writers from across the West Midlands are supporting Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice as part of Make a Will Month this March – offering people discounted way to create or adjust their will whilst showing their support for a charity.
Throughout March, a number of solicitors and will writers will waive their usual fees and ask for a charitable donation to be made to the Hospice in exchange for use of their services.
Suggested donations are £100 for a single will, which typically cost £185, or £125 for a joint will, which costs £225 on average. All funds raised will go towards the Hospice, which supports people across Birmingham, Solihull and Sandwell to live well with life-limiting illness.
Katy O’Sullivan, Head of Philanthropy at Birmingham St Mary’s, said:
Your will is such an important document and yet, so many people still don’t have one. Having a will has many benefits but ultimately, it gives you peace of mind that your loved ones will be provided for in the future.
Taking part in Make a Will month is a less expensive way of getting your affairs in order, whilst supporting a fantastic cause at the same time. We have lots of solicitors and will writers taking part this year who can make sorting your will as simple as possible – you can arrange a home visit, complete it online, or even visit the solicitor at their office.”
