The Hospice Charity Partnership invites you to Party in the Park

Via Charlotte for The Hospice Charity Partnership

To celebrate summer 2022, The Hospice Charity Partnership is throwing its Party in the Park on Saturday 13th August (11am to 4pm) at Selly Park Recreation Ground (B29 7DA). The day will be jam-packed with live entertainment, DIY craft stalls, games stalls and tasty treats from local vendors.

The event to mark one year of The Hospice Charity Partnership, and all of the people who make providing vital care to local people living with life-limiting illness possible.

Party in the Park

Starting and finishing at Party in the Park, the charity’s brand-new, fun-filled 5k sponsored run, Party 5k, will also be taking place on the day (starting at 12:30pm). Participants will boogie their way through party stations, take on an inflatable slide and finish in a tunnel of foam, before celebrating back at Party in the Park and receiving their exclusive Party 5k party bag.

All funds raised from Party in the Park and Party 5k will enable The Hospice Charity Partnership, formed by the merger of Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice, to continue providing expert palliative and end of life care to people living with life-limiting illnesses.

Rebecca Richards, Senior Events Manager at The Hospice Charity Partnership, said:

With so much to celebrate this summer, we’re more excited than ever to be Partying in the Park with you all. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our wonderful community, so this is a fabulous way for us to say a huge “thank you” to you all and raise additional vital funds to support local people in need of our care.

We are really looking forward to celebrating summer with you in style!”

Entry to Party in the Park is free. Tickets for Party 5k are £8 for adults and £6 for children, or £22 for a family ticket (up to two adults and two children). Find out more, or to sign up for Party 5k, please visit:
