Soon: The Hospice Charity Partnership’s Enchanted Walk
Via Charlotte for The Hospice Charity Partnership
The Hospice Charity Partnership’s Enchanted Walk returns on Saturday 24th September, and this magical 10k promises to bring some sparkle to September.
This evening to remember will begin at Rowheath Pavilion, where participants will enjoy entertainment, refreshments and a fun warm-up before setting off on their scenic 10k walk around Bournville and Selly Oak. En route, there will be entertainment from street performers, magicians, fire breathers and more.
During the walk, participants will pass Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, where they’ll be able to stop off for a moment of reflection and light a candle in memory of their loved ones, before heading back to the finish line for the sparkling reception and a free glass of fizz.
All funds raised from the Enchanted Walk will enable The Hospice Charity Partnership, formed by the merger of Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice, to continue providing expert palliative and end-of-life care to people living with life-limiting illnesses.
Rebecca Richards, Senior Events Manager at The Hospice Charity Partnership, said:
We’re so excited for the return of our much-loved Enchanted Walk.
Not only does the Enchanted Walk enable more local people to receive the end-of-life care and support they desperately need, it’s also an evening to remember with a sparkling atmosphere, exciting entertainment and touching moments of reflection.
Whether you walk in memory of someone special or to make new memories with your loved ones, we can’t wait to see you there!”
Tickets for Enchanted Walk are just £15 (£13 per person for teams of three or more people.) The ticket includes a medal, a glass of fizz and a free tasty treat!
