Spa goers from across the Midlands looking for an oasis of calm, can now head to thespa at The Cube in central Birmingham which has benefitted from a half-million pound investment.

The work has now elevated the facilities for those looking for a luxury spa day in Birmingham and has placed the Wharfside Street venue amongst the most inspired when it comes to providing a haven of tranquillity.

One element of the new look spa is the extension of the relaxation or quiet area. More treatment rooms have also been added, oozing luxury it will appeal to those looking for a place to chill out and relax.

There has also been an increase in the number of double and single full-length loungers, and a series of hanging Canvas Cacoons © have also been installed where guests can quite literally hang out! Soft lighting has also made this area the perfect place for people to lie back, relax and get away from the stresses and strains of modern-day life.

The new look facilities also include two traditional Arabian Rasul mud-based spa treatment rooms. Combining the health enhancing properties of mud, steam and heat, guests will be able to draw all the benefits of the treatment which includes exfoliating and toning the skin, while detoxifying the body and leaving them feeling totally relaxed.

In addition, part of the refurbishment will see Elemis, the UK’s leading provider of skincare products, open a flagship store on site, increasing further to the venue’s appeal to those wanting a luxurious spa day.

Jennifer Butters, the spa’s manager is now looking forward to welcoming guests to the new look spa. She said:

We were already the venue of choice for those looking for a spa pamper day or weekend in the city. There has also been a steady rise in the demand for spa days so it’s great news that we can now accommodate more people looking to make the most of their leisure time.

As a leading spa, we always looking at ways in which we can improve what we provide our guests and the extension of the quiet zone is been something we’ve been wanting to do for some time.

The treatment rooms will provide an intimate space where guests will be able to really relax while the new reception area, that are light and airy, exude a sensation of decadence. It’s what sets us apart from all other spas.

There is without doubt strong demand for weekend spa breaks, mother and daughter pamper days and hen weekends. There has also been a rise in the number of men wanting to enjoy a spa day so this refurbishment is great news for us and our customers.

We work closely with our exclusive product houses including ELEMIS, Leighton Denny and Lycon to ensure we offer our spa guests a beautiful spa journey. We’ve created the perfect environment where people can look forward to and enjoy some ‘you time’ while getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.”
